Android Resource Linking Failed Error to this problem is not so simple. There are several solutions for this error, but most of them are either too complicated or don’t work. I have tried several of the methods that I found online and they all didn’t work. I was able to solve this problem by using the method that I am about to explain.

The Android Resource Linking Failed Error occurs when you try to use an image from your project in a layout file. This usually happens when you try to use a bitmap image that is stored in the drawable folder. If you are using an image that is stored in the drawable folder then you should be able to see it in the drawable folder.

1. Open Every XML file

The first thing that you need to do is open every XML file that you are trying to add the image to. To do this, right click on the XML file and select Open With…, then select XML Editor.

2. Add Image to Layout File

Now that you have opened every XML file, you need to add the image to the layout file that you want to use it in. To do this, go to the layout file and click on the plus icon in the top left corner of the editor. You will now see a list of all the images that are in your project. Select the image that you want to add to the layout file and click OK.

3. Run a Stacktrace

When you add the image to the layout file, you will get an error message saying “Resource ID #0x7f0b0050 is not a Drawable (color or path).”

This means that the image is not being added to the layout file. You can fix this by going back to the XML file that you want to add the image to and adding the image to the layout file again. This time, when you run the app, you will get a different error message. This time it will say “Resource ID #0x7f0b0050 is not a ColorStateList.”

4. Undo the Changes

If you have made any changes to the XML file, you will need to undo these changes before you can add the image to the layout file. You can do this by clicking on the red button in the top right corner of the XML Editor.

5. Add the Image Again

Now that you have undone the changes, you can add the image to the layout file again. To do this, click on the plus icon in the top left corner of the editor again. You will now see the same list of images as before. Select the image that you want to add to the layout file and click OK.
